Interested in working with the Natural Products Discovery Group? We are looking for creative and enthusiastic individuals with experience in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology who are interested in applying those skills to solve problems in the area of natural products research.

Students interested in pursuing Ph.D. studies in the field of natural products research are encouraged to apply. Formal applications must be submitted to the University Of Oklahoma College Of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Prospective students with interests in the fields of organic chemistry, biochemistry, and analytical chemistry are especially encouraged to apply. Undergraduates interested in an intensive, hands-on research experience are welcomed to apply. Individuals must be willing to commit at least 10 hours per week for one year; however, multiyear research programs are preferred. Interested students need to send a PDF document outlining their 1) reasons for wanting to work with the Natural Products Discovery Group, 2) a brief summary of past experiences preparing them for research, and 3) a succinct description of long-term career goals. Selected candidates will be asked to come in for an interview and asked to have two letters of recommendation sent on their behalf directly to the lab director at email@example.com. Successful candidates must enroll for at least one and no more than three hours of research credit per semester with the University of Oklahoma.
